Within the next 24 hours it will be announced whether Adidas or Puma has been chosen as the next kit and merchandise provider for The Cards. The deadline for voting has now passed as fans wait for the outcome, in what is believed to be a tighter race than the new badge polling last month.
The fans’ vote is thought to be the first step in a transformation of how the club sells merchandise. Although not wanting to be drawn on specific plans, the club have confirmed to Everything Woking FC it has ambitions to expand the shop at The Laithwaite Community Stadium, which has been hit hard by COVID-19 restrictions and was closed the majority of the last year.
Extended opening times and an increase in local stock availability on-site are also thought to be key components so fans won’t have to be kept waiting to get their hands on items.

The plans will come as music to the ears of fans who have been frustrated by shop closures due to restrictions and high delivery fees. In a recent poll, 86% of fans said they had been, or would be, put off using the online shop due to the fee.
Regardless which brand is chosen, Cards fans will be keeping a close eye on developments.
