Conference sees rise in football-related arrests

Woking have ranked 11th in figures released today documenting arrests at football matches last season.

The figures released by the Daily Mirror show that overall there were 206 arrests in the Conference last season. This figure was considerably higher than the previous season with only 119 arrests across the league.

 Nuneaton Town topped last season’s list with 87 arrests.

Woking had a total of three arrests on match days last season, none of which resulted in a football banning order.

Ten Conference clubs including Southport, Tamworth and Gateshead incurred no arrests.
