Met Police explain their large attendance at Woking game

Jacob Greenwood The Metropolitan police’s football unit have explained their larger than usual presence at Park View Road on Saturday. Approximately 20 officers were present alongside stewards to control a crowd of just 809 fans who watched Welling United beat ten-man Woking 3-0. Conference sees rise in football-related arrests

Jacob Greenwood Woking have ranked 11th in figures released today documenting arrests at football matches last season. The figures released by the Daily Mirror show that overall there were 206 arrests in the Conference last season.
