Pattie ‘Buzzing’ With Woking Opportunity

QPR loane Ben Pattie spoke of his excitement of signing for The Cards moments after scoring Woking’s final goal in a 5-2 victory over Chester.

Pattie grabbed his first goal for The Cards a week after signing on a month-long loan from The Championship side and admitted he couldn’t wait to get started. He told Woking’s official website:

“I was buzzing to sign on a months loan and I am just looking for some minutes (on the pitch) to score some goals

“It is good to get on the scoresheet and to get your name out there.”

The 19-year-old striker also admitted that the style of play in the National League was very different to that of U21 football.

“(National League) is a lot more physical. There aren’t many rough challenges in under 21s football. You just have to adapt your game really.”
