Hill Committed To Seeing Out Woking Contract

By Jacob Greenwood

Garry Hill has moved to quash rumours regarding his managerial future at Kingfield.

Hill had been linked to the vacant managers position at Ebbsfleet United following the departure of ex-Welling United manager Jamie Day. However, The Cards boss insisted he is dedicated to staying at Kingfield and building on a successful season in which he guided the Surrey side to a seventh placed finish. He told the official website:

“All I would say to everybody at this football club is it (the rumours) doesn’t affect me. I would like to squash that rumour, or any rumour, very quickly. I am contracted to Woking Football Club until May 2017 and I have no plans of going anywhere. Nobody has talked to me from any football club and I don’t wish to speak to any other football club.

“I am committed to Woking and I will build at Woking with Steve Thompson again.

“My position, unless told otherwise by the chairman or the board of directors, is at Woking Football Club.”
